PSI K-Valve EVO DIN Insert EAN

The PSI K-Valve EVO DIN Insert EAN is a tank valve for scuba diving, specially designed to be compatible with Nitrox (EAN – Enriched Air Nitrox) and features both YOKE and DIN connection options.
1. Main function and application of the high-pressure control valve: It opens, closes, and controls the supply of high-pressure air from the diving cylinder to the first-stage regulator. It supports Nitrox (EAN) gas: EAN stands for Enriched Air Nitrox. This valve uses special lubricants and O-rings that are safely resistant to high oxygen concentrations, preventing combustion.
2-in-1 Connector Adapter (DIN Insert): The set includes a brass threaded adapter (DIN Insert). When the insert is attached, it can be connected to a YOKE (INT) type regulator. However, if the insert is removed with an Allen wrench, it can be converted to a threaded connection for a DIN type regulator.
2. Key Features and Highly Flexible Technical Specifications: Eliminates the need for divers to frequently switch tank valves when using different regulator systems. High Safety: Equipped with a 5,000 PSI Rupture Disc (Burst Disc) safety system, which automatically breaks to release air if the tank pressure exceeds the standard limit, preventing tank explosion.
Premium Grade Material: Made from stamped brass (CW 617 N) with nickel and chrome plating for saltwater corrosion protection. Standard Thread Size: The valve end thread connecting to the tank neck is 3/4″-14 NPSM, a standard size for aluminum diving tanks (e.g., Catalina S80 tanks). Maximum service pressure: 232 BAR.
