Program Day 1
This route offers the ultimate classic liveaboard experience in the Maldives. Aboard Horizon 3, you’ll explore a rich diversity of marine life shaped by varying habitats and water depths. Each dive brings new surprises, with the chance to encounter rare large fish seldom seen in everyday life.
Day 2 North Malé Atoll → Vaavu Atoll
Our journey begins at one of the Maldives’ most renowned diving destinations—the North Malé Atoll. Get ready to dive into nature’s aquarium! Here, you’ll frequently encounter mesmerizing marine life, including marble rays and manta rays. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a majestic guitar shark! As the sun sets, we’ll arrive at Felidhoo in Vaavu Atoll, where an unforgettable night dive awaits, offering a whole new perspective of the underwater world.
Day 3 Vaavu Atoll → South Ari Atoll
Get ready for an exhilarating dive at the breathtaking Miyaru Kandu, also known as Shark Channel! This spectacular underwater canyon offers the rare opportunity to swim alongside sharks while being surrounded by vibrant schools of fusiliers. Vaavu Atoll boasts an incredible variety of underwater landscapes, from coral-filled caves and towering cliffs to mesmerizing rock formations and thriving coral reefs. You’ll also have the chance to spot rare and fascinating marine species. Let’s explore this enchanting dive site together and create unforgettable memories beneath the waves!
Day 4 South Ari Atoll
Embark on an unforgettable diving adventure with Horizon 3, where you’ll have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim alongside whale sharks—a truly magical experience. South Ari Atoll is home to breathtaking underwater sights waiting to be explored. One of the highlights is the Kudhimaa Wreck, an awe-inspiring dive site that feels almost otherworldly. Here, you can encounter grey reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and a fascinating array of marine life, making every dive an exciting discovery.
Day 5 South Ari Atoll > North Ari Atoll
The crew of Horizon 3 will once again be on the lookout for whale sharks, giving you the chance to swim alongside these incredible creatures. The underwater channels in North Ari Atoll are wider and deeper, attracting a variety of large fish, including grey reef sharks and white-tip sharks. After an exciting day of underwater exploration, Horizon 3 will host a BBQ feast on a deserted island, where you can relax and enjoy the evening under a beautiful starry sky.
Day 6 North Ari Atoll
North Ari Atoll is a well-known Manta Ray cleaning station. Here, you can witness a large number of Manta Rays as they come and go. Watching these majestic creatures up close is an unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss!
Day 7
Our incredible underwater journey is about to reach its final full day, so let’s make the most of it by exploring the spectacular dive sites of North Ari Atoll. Afterward, Horizon 3 will take you back to North Malé Atoll, where we will dive into outer reefs, caves, and vibrant coral formations, encountering a variety of breathtaking marine creatures. This part of the journey will be a truly magical and unforgettable experience. As the evening sets in, Horizon 3 will slowly set sail toward Malé Port, carrying with it a treasure trove of wonderful memories.
Day 8
On this beautiful morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, our Maldives liveaboard journey comes to an end. We will check out at 8:00 AM and say our goodbyes as we head to the airport. This ocean adventure has been filled with breathtaking views, from the vibrant colors of coral to the graceful movements of marine life, all set against the endless blue of the ocean. Let’s take a moment to reflect on this unforgettable journey, cherish the wonderful memories, and look forward to our next adventure together!
